As a passion project to revive discarded textiles into fabric scrap that has transformed into zero waste products that are funky and usable on the daily basis. hoping to eliminate fashion’s harmful environmental effects by being, mindful, minimal and conscious. Their brand focuses on empowering women and supporting marginalized communities, artisans, craftswomen and craftsmen in India.

Oh scrap! upcycles fabric scrap collected from garment exporters and tailoring units in the city of Chennai, India. Oh Scrap! ensures to maintain a low carbon footprint by upcycling, recycling and not using plastic.

At the core of the brand is the belief that when your home is equipped with well-made and well-designed products, you are calmer and more efficient.

What makes us different is our choice of materials. Fun/ctional constantly strives to use materials that contribute to the functionality of the product than just being a means to a form. For example, cork, a material that has become synonymous with the brand, has so many advantages but until recently, had only been used as wine stoppers, coasters and pin up boards. We have re-imagined it to other homeware that can benefit from its properties.
